Top Tier is an application designed to help users create and share their personal videogame rankings. The platform offers features to rank games, discover what your friends are playing, and view global community rankings. The service does not collect or store personally identifiable information beyond the username, email address, and photographs uploaded by the user, maintaining the security and privacy of information.
1. Where This Policy Applies
This privacy policy covers the websites and applications of Top Tier.
2. Information We Collect
When creating an account, users provide:

- Username
- Profile picture (optional)
During use of the application, the following information is recorded:
- Game rankings and their positions
- Game preferences and associated data (platform, genre, year)

Users may grant access to the camera or photo library to add content. Users acknowledge that they accept the storage and display of sensitive information to other users when they voluntarily provide it.
Subscriptions are managed through Lemon Squeezy and do not involve the collection of payment data by Top Tier.

The primary method of sharing involves publishing completed rankings and results with other users, creating motivational community environments.
Information is shared with service providers who assist in operations, including Supabase for cloud data hosting.
With Other Users
Users share ranking information with other users of the application. Care should be taken with attached photographs, ensuring that shared content represents material users are comfortable with others accessing, as neither users nor Top Tier can control the subsequent use of shared information.
With Service Providers and Partners
Third parties assist with operations and service improvement. All third parties must agree to strict confidentiality obligations.
Top Tier's service providers include:
- Supabase (information storage and authentication)
- Lemon Squeezy (subscription management)
- IGDB / Twitch (videogame data)
- Apple Store (application publishing)
- Google Play (application publishing)
For Corporate Transactions
Information may be transferred if Top Tier is involved in mergers, sales, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, reorganizations, dissolutions, bankruptcies, or other changes of ownership or control.
