Delete your TopTier account

This page explains how to request the deletion of your TopTier account
(application ID app.toptier, available on Google Play and the App Store) and
of all the personal data associated with it.
How to delete your account
Option A — From the app (immediate)
- Open TopTier and sign in to your account.
- Tap your avatar to open Profile.
- Scroll down to the DANGER ZONE section at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Read the warning, tap Continue, type the word DELETE and confirm.
Your account and your data are removed right away. The action is irreversible.
Option B — From this page
Use this route if you have already uninstalled the app or cannot access your account. Fill in the form below with the email address you signed up with.
Before you continue: subscriptions
If you have an active Premium subscription, deleting your account does NOT cancel it and you will keep being charged. Cancel it first from the subscription management portal (Profile → Manage subscription in the app) or from your payment provider.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account we permanently remove:
- Your account and your sign-in credentials (email address and password).
- Your profile: display name, email address, profile picture, privacy settings and social media links.
- Your entire personal ranking: games, positions, status, platforms, years played, tags and any associated data.
- Your saved filters.
- Your social connections: who you follow and who follows you, in both directions.
- All your avatar images in our storage, including previous versions.
What is kept
- The shared video game catalogue (titles, cover art, genres, developers). This is public data sourced from IGDB and contains no personal information about you.
- Aggregated community global rankings. These are anonymous figures that cannot be used to re-identify you.
- Billing records retained by our payment providers (Stripe and Lemon Squeezy) to meet legal tax obligations. TopTier does not store your card or payment method details.
Timeframes
- Deletion from the app: immediate and irreversible.
- Request through this form: we acknowledge receipt within 72 business hours and complete the deletion within a maximum of 30 days (Article 12 GDPR).
- Backups: our encrypted backups rotate automatically, so already deleted data disappears from them within a maximum of 30 additional days. That is the maximum residual retention period.
